The Sacred Journey of Prabhu Param Jyothi

The Prabhu Param Jyothi (Sacred Lamp) was ceremoniously brought from the birthplace of Shri Allamaprabhu, Balligavi in Shivamogga district, by revered Swamijis to the Allamaprabhu Temple in Teradal. After seeking blessings at Balligavi, the jyothi, accompanied by Prabhu Swamiji and devotees from Chimmad, was brought to Teradal through a grand padayatre. The padayatre was further led by Pujya Dr. Mahanthprabhu Swamiji and Pujya Veeresh Devaru.

The Param Jyothi was carried in a beautifully decorated, custom-made vehicle, followed by a procession of bullock carts. Devotees of all age groups participated in the grand march, barefoot under the scorching sun, walking in unison with deep devotion and reverence. The Pallakki and vibrant procession, filled with the rhythmic beats of dhols and uplifting chants, reflected the unwavering faith and enthusiasm of the community. This sacred journey, brimming with spiritual fervor, united people in a collective celebration of Shri Allamaprabhu's blessings and timeless teachings.
